Fun Club Hub CIO Team & Expertise
As Youth Workers, we are able to meet young people in a safe environment to offer friendly and supportive advice and information on a range of topics to encourage safe and informed choices. We can help young people to access more specialist support. We operate the C- Card (contraception) schemes and have links with other specialist services if you need help. We encourage participation for young people to be part of our future planning and promote the voice of young people through our Youth Forum.
We are supported by:
Liz
Liz – Senior Youth Worker & Co-Founder
Hi, my name is Liz. I’m a mum, a nan, and a qualified youth worker with over 40 years of experience. Supporting and empowering young people has been my life’s work, and I’m still as passionate today as I was when I started. Being a positive role model and seeing the impact youth work has is incredibly rewarding — and it’s great fun too!
Kerry
Kerry -Co-Founder & Youth Work Lead
Hi, I’m Kerry. Youth work has been my life since I started volunteering at 15. I’ve worked all over the country in schools, on the streets, and on projects before co-founding Fun Club Hub with Liz. I believe every young person deserves a safe space and the chance to grow through new experiences. Youth work is a lifestyle — late nights, real conversations, lots of laughs, and constant learning. You’ll find me snapping selfies at club and shouting about all the amazing things young people achieve!
Gemma
gemma – youth worker
Hi, I’m Gemma. I’ve been doing youth work for 14 years, starting as a volunteer and quickly realising it was my passion. Since then, I’ve worked in youth clubs, schools, detached settings, and with young offenders. I’m all about empowering young people to believe in themselves and chase their goals. There’s nothing better than seeing how far they’ve come and knowing you’ve helped them get there.
Han
HAN – SPORTS LEAD & NETBALL COACH
Hi, I’m Han. I’m crazy about sport and passionate about keeping everyone active. My sporting obsession is netball — I’m a Level 2 coach, a qualified umpire, and a full-on netball geek! Whether it’s netball, football, or something completely new, I’m always up for giving it a go. You’ll usually find me around club with a ball in one hand and a whistle in the other — come chat if you want to try something sporty!
Mia
MIA -Youth Worker & Arts Lead
Hi, I’m Mia. Youth work is my passion, especially when it comes to giving young people a voice. I’ve worked across youth sectors including with young offenders, and I’m a big advocate for participation and mental wellbeing. I’m usually at the arts and crafts table — a safe, creative space where young people can express themselves. I’m currently studying for my Level 3 in Youth Work and excited for what’s ahead.
